The aromas take time to develop to go towards blackberry, spices and violet. Thanks to the cold clays, the Merlot has had time to get healthy, and the wine presents a nice density without the flesh of the great vintages, but with the same alcohol as 2009 and 2010, 14.5°, and a nice freshness. 50% new cask.
