The complex nose mixes cherry with eau-de-vie, slightly candied red fruit, violet, truffle. Ample from the attack, the wine is tasty, "structured by elegant and deep tannins which highlight a strong personality keeping the Pomerol character". The spicy and long finish does not contradict any of the stages in the tasting of a great classic for laying down.
