The 2011 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts is a well-rolled young wine, unfolding in the glass with flavors of wild berries, smoked meats, exotic spices, orange zest and plums. Medium to full-bodied, deep and coiled, it's elegantly muscular, with huge reserves of concentration, crisp acids and powdery tannins. Even if it is already very impressive today, it really requires a decade of patience.
