The wine opens up with restraint at first; then airing releases fresh and attractive scents of graphite and flowers, before ripe black fruits and black cherry jam appear. Ample and fine on the attack, the palate reveals well-knit but delicate tannins, with a very fine grain, and gains even more power in a rich and long finish, with accents of cooked cherry.
