With this 2009, the château won its third favourite. A blend of four grape varieties dominated by Cabernet-Sauvignon and including a hint of Petit Verdot, this red Pessac is distinguished by an extraordinary fruitiness; blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry pierce under the spices, liquorice and toastiness of the barrel; they blossom into delicious flavors on a generous palate lined with silky tannins, which builds up to a long and elegant finish.
