CHATEAU LEOVILLE POYFERRE 2017 Saint Julien 0.75 Ltr

This vintage offers us a deep garnet color with purple reflections. The wine is bright and limpid. On the nose, before aeration, we are pleasantly surprised by pronounced notes of coffee, which fade quickly to give way to the freshness of small berry fruits, blackberries and currants. A delicate woody hint brings more depth to the whole. On the palate, the wine is ample and silky, with muscular tannins. The retro-olfaction again releases these notes of very juicy ripe fruit. The finish is supple with a hint of liquorice which gives it a nice balance.
