The age of the vines and this presence of clay enabled the 2003 vintage to withstand the heat wave. The burgundy color is dark, almost black. The nose is both subtle and powerful: there are jammy fruits, a spicy woodiness. The unctuous palate, in harmony with the bouquet, rests on dense but velvety tannins. A superb potential.
